Riyadh: Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman sent a cable of condolences to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the death of Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh, who had served as Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, President of the General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta, and Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Muslim World League.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Sultan of Oman expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow mercy upon the deceased.
