Khartoum: The Sudanese government stressed the urgent need to end the war, halt the destruction of the state, and stop the starvation of the Sudanese people, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry emphasized the importance of dismantling the sources and mechanisms used to commit crimes in Sudan and holding those responsible accountable, noting their violations of United Nations Security Council resolutions and international humanitarian law.

The ministry expressed its appreciation to brotherly and friendly countries that support Sudan's security and unity, the safety of its people, and the integrity of its institutions.

It called on the international and regional communities to fulfill their responsibilities in confronting those responsible for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Darfur, Kordofan, and other parts of Sudan.

The government affirmed that it will not accept any form of guardianship and will not allow partners of the perpetrators, or those who remain silent regarding such crimes, to take part in any initiative aimed at ending the war in Sudan.
