StrikeReady Announces Investment Led by Wa’ed Ventures to Power Unmetered AI Security Operations

The investment fuels StrikeReady’s mission to give every alert, vulnerability and identity risk full AI coverage – already cutting incident investigation time by 80% and freeing analysts for high-value threats instead of triage

DALLAS and DHAHRAN, Saudi Arabia, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — StrikeReady, the Composite AI platform for security operations, today announced it has received an investment from Wa’ed Ventures, the domestic venture capital arm of Aramco. The new round brings the company’s total funding raised to $29M. StrikeReady will use the capital to enable its MENA expansion – establishing a Kingdom of Saudi Arabia subsidiary as its regional headquarters, and to scale its Composite AI platform for enterprise security teams globally.

Every shift in security tooling has landed teams in the same trap: pricing models that shrink coverage to whatever the budget allows, per-ingestion SIEM, per-playbook SOAR and now per-investigation agentic AI, where token costs force security teams to decide which alerts, vulnerabilities, and identity risks get AI attention and which don’t. The size of a security budget starts to determine the strength of a security posture, not the severity of the threat. StrikeReady provides full AI coverage across the entire security operations center, on the stack the enterprise already owns, with no coverage limits tied to spend.

“Our investment in StrikeReady reflects our conviction that cybersecurity will continue to play a critical role in enabling digital economies,” said Anas Algahtani, CEO, Wa’ed Ventures. “StrikeReady has developed a solution that addresses a growing enterprise need, and equally important, the team shares our ambition to establish a meaningful presence in Saudi Arabia. We look forward to supporting the company’s growth while contributing to the Kingdom’s vision of building a globally competitive technology ecosystem.”

StrikeReady’s platform is built on Composite AI, which combines pattern-matching and ML-driven automation for high-frequency, high-volume work with LLM-based reasoning for moments that require critical judgement. It delivers unmetered AI coverage across alerts, incidents, vulnerabilities, assets, identities, and threat intelligence — running on top of the SIEM, EDR, IAM, and threat intelligence tools enterprises already own, without replacing any of them. In a recent enterprise deployment, StrikeReady customers saw an 80% reduction in incident investigation times, with routine threats handled autonomously end-to-end and analysts freed to focus on high-value investigations and proactive defense.

“We’ve seen this movie three times now — per-ingestion SIEM, per-playbook SOAR, and now per-investigation agentic AI,” said Yasir Khalid, Founder and CEO of StrikeReady. “Every model shrinks AI coverage to fit whatever the budget allows. The size of your security budget should never determine the resilience of your security posture. StrikeReady is unmetered — every alert, every vulnerability, every identity risk gets the right AI, on the stack you already have.”

Beyond capital, Wa’ed Ventures will help StrikeReady establish and scale its presence in the Kingdom, connecting the company with the local innovation ecosystem, strategic partners, and long-term growth opportunities in support of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambitions.

Data sovereignty is non-negotiable for Saudi Arabia’s largest enterprises and critical infrastructure operators. StrikeReady’s platform is already deployed on Google Cloud Platform’s KSA region, keeping all security data in-country. For organizations requiring complete on-premises control, StrikeReady also delivers a self-hosted deployment option. Additionally, the company is working with major local hosting providers inside the Kingdom to give customers full flexibility in how and where they run their security operations. As part of the partnership, StrikeReady will establish a KSA subsidiary as its MENA regional headquarters, invest in local talent development, and partner with Saudi institutions to build in-country AI and cybersecurity capabilities.

“Wa’ed Ventures is far more than capital — it’s the bridge between StrikeReady and the entire Saudi digital economy,” said Khalid. “The Kingdom is our largest market outside the United States. This partnership lets us put unmetered AI coverage in the hands of the operators protecting the Kingdom’s most critical assets.”
