Riyadh: The General Department of Financial Investigation at the Presidency of State Security participated in the second meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Committee of Financial Intelligence Units, held Sunday in Kuwait: The meeting discussed several topics of shared interest. The department also signed a memorandum of understanding with its Kuwaiti counterpart to enhance cooperation in exchanging information related to combating money laundering, terrorist financing, and other associated crimes.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening collaborative efforts among GCC member states to address financial crimes. The memorandum of understanding aims to facilitate more effective communication and shared strategies for tackling these issues within the region.
