The Standing Committee on International Humanitarian Law will participate in the upcoming 34th International Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, to be held in Geneva from October 28 to 31. The event will bring together 194 associations, organizations, and international bodies to address humanitarian law amid evolving geopolitical changes. Led by Committee Chairman Dr. Jalal Al-Owaisi and Secretary-General Counselor Abdullah Al-Ruwaili, the Saudi delegation will feature an introductory exhibit at the conference's Humanitarian Village, showcasing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment to upholding and implementing international humanitarian law. The committee will co-host a symposium, alongside the Egyptian and Qatari national committees, spotlighting Arab efforts to promote respect for and enforce international humanitarian law. The committee works to strengthen international partnerships to promote humanitarian law.
