Linah: Vast stretches of desert west of the historic village of Linah in Saudi Arabia’s Northern Borders Region have been covered by wild chamomile, creating a bright white landscape and highlighting one of the most visible signs of spring in the area.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the plant’s white and yellow flowers appear in sandy or light clay soils, where they spread among desert grasses and shrubs. Moderate spring conditions have supported the bloom, along with the presence of other wildflowers in different colors across the terrain.
The seasonal scene has attracted desert visitors and photographers, while authorities stressed the importance of protecting the vegetation cover and avoiding practices that could damage it.
