Sakaka: Sports clubs in Sakaka are seeing a growing influx of youth and adolescents after the school day ends, reflecting increased awareness of the value of physical activity and productive use of leisure time.
According to Saudi Press Agency, a field tour in Al-Jouf Region observed students flocking to facilities offering football, swimming, tennis, padel, karate, boxing, and fitness programs. Club managers attributed the increased turnout to family support and efforts by relevant authorities to provide a safe and stimulating environment.
Sports club official Hakim Al-Anazi noted that participants start from age seven, with the surge driven by the spread of sports culture via social media and growing community awareness. Fitness trainer Yazid Al-Mufreh added that training programs are tailored to each sport, targeting appropriate muscle groups to improve speed, endurance, and overall fitness.
Sports clubs in Sakaka continue to develop their programs to meet growing demand, reinforcing their role in building an active and healthy generation in line with the Kingdom’s sports development goals.
