Riyadh: Saudi Post (SPL) continues its preparations for this year's Hajj season 1446 AH through an integrated operational plan spanning two months, beginning on May 13 and continuing until July 10, that aims to provide highly efficient logistical and geospatial capabilities to pilgrims. The plan comes as part of its commitment as a national operator and in continuation of its efforts to support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by improving the pilgrims' experience and enhancing the quality of services provided in cooperation with relevant authorities.
According to Saudi Press Agency, SPL offers a wide range of postal and logistical services during Hajj season, most notably the "Hajj and Umrah Parcels" service, which enables pilgrims to ship their belongings from Makkah and Madinah to various countries around the world with ease and convenience, reducing the burden of transporting luggage and providing a more comfortable Hajj experience.
To enhance the efficiency of field services during Hajj season, SPL utilized five SPL GO mobile vehicles, specially equipped to provide flexible and rapid logistics solutions for moving through crowds in Makkah and Madinah. This ensures immediate access and meets the needs of pilgrims and participating entities at the right time and place.
SPL's participation in Hajj season contributes to achieving the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 by designing advanced initiatives that meet the needs of the Hajj and Umrah sector. It is committed to improving the experience of pilgrims by providing professional, excellent, integrated logistics services. It also strengthens the role of SPL in supporting this vital sector by activating numerous partnerships with the public and private sectors.
