Riyadh: The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) has launched the digital version of its Saudi Arabia's History Exhibition to mark Founding Day, under the patronage of Minister of Media and SPA Board of Directors Chairman Salman Al-Dossary. The exhibition presents a sequential timeline of the Saudi state's history, beginning with the foundation of the First Saudi State 299 years ago. It chronicles the transition through the Second Saudi State to the Third, culminating in the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud. The narrative follows the nation's rapid modernization under successive kings, leading to the current prosperous era of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, showcasing the Kingdom's transformative present and its vision for a bright future.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative, following a Shura Council recommendation, transforms the previously physical exhibition into an immersive, interactive experience using 360° photography and virtual reality. By utilizing advanced audio-visual techniques, the digital platform showcases three centuries of national milestones, making the Kingdom's historical narrative accessible to a global audience.

The project also highlights local talent, as the content was produced by national personnel trained at the SPA Academy for News Training, aligning with Vision 2030 goals for digital transformation and media innovation.
