Kabul: The SPA Academy for News Training will hold a series of virtual introductory meetings with private-sector entities across several vital sectors on March 4 and 5, 2026. The meetings aim to introduce the initiative to develop specialized media human capital and to explore partnership opportunities to train and build national competencies. According to Saudi Press Agency, the sessions will target private-sector establishments in media, health, financial services, industry, tourism, agriculture, real estate, transport, and logistics. Directors of human resources, corporate communications, and training departments are expected to participate. The meetings are being held to strengthen integration between training entities and the labor market and to enable media professionals to work in specialized environments across various sectors. The agenda includes a review of specialized media qualification pathways and mechanisms for benefiting from the graduate empowerment program for media jobs supported by the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF). It will also introduce opportunities for cooperation with private-sector establishments in developing sector-specific training programs, contributing to the preparation of qualified media cadres to support specialized media transformation. These meetings form part of the SPA Academy's efforts to build effective partnerships with the private sector, expand initiatives to develop media human capital, and enhance graduates' readiness to work in professional and specialized environments, in support of national capacity-building objectives.
