SOPC Vice President Heads Saudi Delegation at Sixth Asian Beach Games in China

Sanya: On behalf of Minister of Sport and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, Vice President of the committee Fahad bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed is heading the Saudi delegation participating in the Sixth Asian Beach Games, hosted by the Chinese city of Sanya from April 22 to 30, with the participation of 1,790 athletes representing 45 National Olympic Committees.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Fahad bin Jalawi stated that the Kingdom's participation reflects its presence in continental and international sporting events. He highlighted the support and attention the sports sector receives from the leadership, as well as the follow-up of the committee's president.

He further mentioned that such participation aims to enhance Saudi Arabia's presence across sporting platforms and provide athletes with opportunities to gain competitive experience. This contributes to the development of their technical levels and supports the objective of building a more advanced and sustainable sports ecosystem.

The Saudi delegation is competing in several sports included in the games' program, continuing the Kingdom's consistent participation in continental competitions.
