Riyadh: The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) has announced a significant development by opening its fellowship program to an international audience. According to Saudi Press Agency, beginning with the third sitting of 2025 scheduled for September, accountants and professionals from around the globe will have the opportunity to earn the SOCPA Fellowship by completing the program and taking the exam in English. This strategic decision underscores SOCPA's commitment to broadening access and flexibility for international candidates.
The SOCPA Fellowship is highly regarded by respected professional bodies globally, known for its stringent standards and comprehensive curriculum. This reputation has made it one of the most prestigious qualifications in the accounting and auditing sectors.
The organization will maintain the dual-language offering of the exam in future sittings, allowing candidates to select their preferred language. The fellowship program encompasses six core subjects: financial accounting, managerial and governmental accounting, auditing, zakat and tax, business environment, and regulations.
