Social Development Bank to Launch ‘Gamethon’ Challenge to Help Develop E-games on Financial Awareness and Savings

The Social Development Bank (SDB), the region's largest comprehensive development finance bank, is planning to launch a "Gamethon" challenge to create electronic games aimed at raising financial awareness and savings. The event is scheduled to take place in the Boulevard area in Riyadh from August 21 to 23. The awareness event envisages bringing together innovators, developers, designers and programmers of electronic games to design a game specialized in financial culture, savings and financial planning. Gamethon, with winner prizes reaching SAR100,000, aims to increase knowledge, expand networks, foster cooperation, and keep pace with the Kingdom's endeavor to support this promising growth sector.
