Riyadh: The sixth edition of the Joy Awards was held here last night as part of Riyadh Season, organized by the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) in strategic partnership with MBC Group, in the presence of Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority Turki Alalshikh. The ceremony brought together numerous figures from the entertainment sector from within the Kingdom and abroad, accompanied by strong media coverage and a large public turnout.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the evening featured live artistic and performance shows, in addition to honoring winners across several categories covering art, drama, cinema, music, sports, and content creation. The ceremony also included honorary awards and lifetime achievement honors, reflecting the growth and diversity of the entertainment industry.
The event underscored the Kingdom's advanced standing in hosting global events and its expanding role in supporting and empowering the entertainment sector, in line with Saudi Vision 2030. The Joy Awards are among the flagship events of Riyadh Season, bringing together entertainment creators from around the world in an annual celebration.
