President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inspected on Friday the expansion works of the Ring Road and a number of axes and news roads in the vicinity of Cairo airport, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
President Sisi toured the development works in the autostrad axis and expansion works in all internal roads leading to residential districts in Sheraton neighborhood to ease traffic congestion.
The president followed up the executive situation of expanding the Ring Road, especially the section extending from the Autostrad axis, eastern Cairo, to the Monib district, to be eight lanes instead of four.
Sisi chatted with officials at the worksites over details of the construction works and timetables.
