President Abdel Fattah El Sisi discussed on Monday with Peter Lürssen, the owner and chairman of the global German Lürssen Shipyard Group, aspects of developing the shipbuilding industry and modernizing shipyards in Egypt, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
The meeting was attended by Navy Commander Ahmed Khaled and Rear Admiral Mohamed Ibrahim.
They tackled ways of training Egyptian cadres and revamping the infrastructure for strengthening maritime industries in line with the latest international technological standards.
