Riyadh: Vice Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Mishaal Alsulami met at the Shura Council headquarters with a delegation from the French Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Armed Forces, headed by Senator C©dric Perrin. Alsulami highlighted the historical relations between Saudi Arabia and France, emphasizing that parliamentary cooperation is a key pillar in supporting joint efforts across various fields and strengthening bilateral ties between the two friendly countries.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation between the Shura Council and the French Senate, in addition to several topics of mutual interest.
