Rome: Shura Council Vice Speaker Dr. Mishaal Al-Sulami met with Marco Osnato, Chair of the Italian-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Committee, and Giulio Centemero, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) and member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, alongside other members of the Italian-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Committee during the 19th PAM General Assembly in Italy.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Al-Sulami provided insights into the Shura Council’s legislative and oversight functions, emphasizing the role of parliamentary diplomacy in enhancing cooperation and fostering bilateral relations.
Osnato underscored the importance of strengthening ties and promoting parliamentary exchanges between the Italian Parliament and the Shura Council.
The discussions also explored avenues to develop and strengthen the friendship and cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Italy, focusing on advancing parliamentary collaboration and addressing mutual interests.
