Manama: Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh will head the Kingdom's delegation at the 19th periodic meeting of speakers of the Shura, representatives, and national councils of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the speaker affirmed that the council's ongoing commitment to active participation in Gulf conferences stems from the strong support and wise vision of the Saudi leadership in strengthening Gulf cooperation, consolidating joint action, and bolstering unity and integration.
Al Al-Sheikh added that these parliamentary meetings reflect the profound solidarity, unified vision, and shared determination in confronting challenges and striving for a more secure and prosperous future for the people of the region. He expressed his hope that the meeting will yield results that contribute to strengthening integration and supporting joint Gulf action, thus fulfilling the aspirations of the GCC peoples for greater progress, unity, and advancement.
