Riyadh: Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh received Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi today at the council’s headquarters in Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the reception, the Shura Council’s speaker welcomed the secretary-general and his delegation. He outlined the Shura Council’s supervisory and legislative roles, emphasizing the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening the Kingdom’s relations with brotherly and friendly nations and enhancing its presence in regional and international forums to serve common interests.
