Kuala lumpur: Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh met today with Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malaysia Johari Abdul at the Parliament headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Malaysian speaker praised Saudi Arabia's regional and international leadership, noting its rapid development, which has positioned the Kingdom as a source of pride for the Islamic world. He reaffirmed Malaysia's commitment to advancing bilateral relations.

The Shura Council speaker expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality received in Malaysia and highlighted the Kingdom's significant progress in economic transformation and development. He commended the strong ties between the two nations as a model for effective parliamentary cooperation.

The two officials discussed strategies to strengthen bilateral relations, focusing on enhancing collaboration between the Shura Council and the Malaysian House of Representatives. They emphasized the role of parliamentary friendship committees in supporting legislative ties and facilitating coordination in regional and international forums.
