Shura Council Speaker Meets Italian Ambassador to Discuss Parliamentary Relations

Riyadh: Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh received Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Carlo Baldocci at the council's headquarters in Riyadh. During the meeting, they reviewed relations between Saudi Arabia and Italy, particularly those related to strengthening parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Italian Parliament, in addition to discussing several topics of mutual interest. According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting underscored the importance of enhancing cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries. Both parties expressed their commitment to fostering a deeper understanding and collaboration in areas that would benefit both nations. The discussion also included exploring avenues for mutual cooperation in international forums and reinforcing the existing ties between the Shura Council and the Italian Parliament.
