Riyadh: Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh held an official talks session today with Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly L¡szl³ K¶v©r at the council headquarters in Riyadh. K¶v©r is currently on an official visit to the Kingdom, marking an important diplomatic engagement between the two legislative bodies.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions were initiated with Al Al-Sheikh welcoming the Hungarian speaker and his accompanying delegation. He emphasized the necessity of bilateral visits to foster mutual interests and strengthen the relationship between the Shura Council, the Hungarian National Assembly, and their respective nations. Al Al-Sheikh also highlighted the Kingdom's progress under Saudi Vision 2030, pointing out the achievements contributing to sustainable development and enhancing Saudi Arabia's position regionally and internationally.
K¶v©r expressed gratitude for the reception and praised the Kingdom's ongoing modernization efforts across sectors. He acknowledged the promising opportunities presented by Saudi Vision 2030 and highlighted the Kingdom's role in promoting stability and supporting peace both regionally and globally.
The talks focused on enhancing Saudi-Hungarian relations, particularly in the parliamentary sphere, while also addressing various issues of shared interest. Both sides stressed the importance of activating parliamentary friendship committees between their councils and encouraged exchanges of visits and expertise to benefit both nations and their citizens.
