Geneva: Shura Council Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh conducted several significant meetings while leading the Saudi delegation at the 151st Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Geneva.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Al Al-Sheikh met with Bahraini Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed Al-Musallam and UAE Federal National Council member Dr. Ali Al Nuaimi. The discussions focused on enhancing Gulf parliamentary coordination, reviewing the IPU agenda, and addressing regional and international matters of mutual interest.
Dr. Al Al-Sheikh also engaged with Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) Secretary-General Dr. Ahmed bin Alawi Hafeedh Baabood. The meeting centered on strengthening cooperation between the Shura Council and the AIPU, particularly in relation to the agenda of the Arab Coordination Group Meeting, which occurred on the sidelines of the assembly.
