Al-baha: Al-Baha markets have experienced a significant surge in shopping activity as Ramadan approaches, with increased demand for essential food supplies and Ramadan-specific products.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Director of the Control and Inspection Department at the Ministry of Commerce in Al-Baha, Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, reported intensified inspections of commercial centers. Recently, 448 inspections were conducted, resulting in 49 violations. Al-Ghamdi confirmed that inspection campaigns will continue to ensure compliance and protect consumers.
He urged consumers to report violations via the "Balagh" app or the unified reporting center at 1900 to enhance transparency and safeguard rights.
These initiatives reflect the ministry's commitment to ensuring the availability of quality goods at fair prices during Ramadan and enforcing compliance with consumer protection regulations.
