Sharjah: The Emirate of Sharjah will host the 25th edition of the Sharjah International Narrator Forum from September 22 to 26, celebrating the art of storytelling with a focus on travel and exploration.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum's program includes a special exhibition titled 'Tales of the Travelers,' which documents travel experiences and their cultural impact. The event will also feature over 40 workshops covering aspects of storytelling, from oral narrative techniques to practical applications, and will launch 40 new publications, many dedicated to travel literature.
More than 45 researchers, experts, and academics from around the world will participate in 10 academic sessions and seminars. A section will also be dedicated to book signings, providing a platform for authors to engage with their audience.
The Maldives has been selected as the guest of honor, highlighting its cultural heritage and human experiences connected to the sea and travel.
