The Sharhabil Bin Hasna Municipality in the Northern Jordan Valley District concluded its parental care awareness program on Thursday, as part of the UNICEF-funded Makani project. The program included 13 sessions aimed at educating mothers of children from infancy to 18 years old. Najwa Heikal, Director of the Women's Empowerment Unit at the municipality, emphasized that the program focused on strengthening family cohesion, which is essential for preventing criminal and negative behaviors in society. The sessions covered topics such as guiding and modifying family members' behavior, the importance of safe parent-child bonding, dealing with negative behaviors, protecting children's rights, and educating them on safe social media usage.
