Ramallah Ma'an - Shahid Center for Citizens' Rights and Community Development announced the integration of sign language into its training courses to enhance the participation of deaf youth and reduce the challenges facing creating effective and equal participation. The co-founder of Shahid Center, Kaid Meari, said that this step aims to enhance the participatory and comprehensive approach among the youth and provide the appropriate and encouraging environment for the participation of all youth segments. Miari confirmed that this step will be followed by other steps in cooperation with the relevant authorities to include new categories of people with disabilities, in order to achieve broader and more comprehensive participation in Palestinian society.
