SFDA Chief Meets Eastern Region Company Representatives, Citizens

Hadhramaut: Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) Chief Executive Dr. Hisham Aljadhey met with executives and representatives from the food, drug, and medical device sectors, as well as citizens benefiting from the authority's services, at the SFDA branch headquarters in Eastern Region. During the meetings, participants discussed the ongoing development of the food, drug, and medical device regulatory systems. They reviewed current challenges and explored future opportunities to strengthen regulatory compliance and support investment in these vital sectors.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Aljadhey emphasized that the safety and quality of products provided to the Kingdom's citizens and residents remain a fundamental priority. He highlighted the importance of constructive communication with the private sector, noting that reviewing industry proposals helps improve the investment climate while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Additionally, Dr. Aljadhey met with the citizens to hear their feedback and observations.
