Al-jouf: Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) Dr. Hisham Aljadhey met on Wednesday at the Al-Jouf Chamber of Commerce with company leaders and representatives from the food, drug, and medical device sectors. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Al-Jouf Chamber Dr. Hamdan bin Abdullah Al-Semreen.
According to Saudi Press Agency, discussions focused on key challenges facing companies in the region, opportunities for growth and expansion, and ways to strengthen compliance with SFDA regulations. The participants also reviewed mechanisms to support investment while maintaining high standards of consumer safety.
Dr. Aljadhey emphasized that the Authority is committed to supporting and empowering the private sector, without compromising its core mandate of protecting public health and ensuring product safety. He stressed that strict adherence to quality standards is essential to achieving sustainable growth and safeguarding national safety.
He further noted that ongoing partnerships and open communication with the private sector play a vital role in improving the investment climate and advancing the Kingdom's strategic objectives in food and drug security.
Such meetings are held regularly as part of the SFDA's broader strategy to strengthen engagement with the private sector and incorporate stakeholder feedback into the Authority's continuous efforts to enhance quality and operational efficiency.
