Amman: Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan Al-Marshad and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation of Jordan Zeina Toukan signed a $28 million development loan agreement to finance the completion of Princess Basma Hospital in Jordan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the project aims to enhance healthcare services at the hospital, which will have a capacity exceeding 560 beds and a total area of more than 88,000 square meters. The facility will provide comprehensive, high-quality medical care, strengthen healthcare infrastructure efficiency, and improve access to specialized services.
The agreement reflects the longstanding development partnership between the two sides. With this loan, the fund's total contributions toward the construction and development of the hospital reach $98 million.
