Riyadh: The Security Forces Hospital obtained accreditation for its kidney transplant program from the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation after fulfilling approved medical and regulatory requirements and standards.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the accreditation enables the hospital to provide kidney transplant services to beneficiaries. It contributes to improving patients' quality of life, reducing reliance on dialysis sessions, and limiting the need to refer cases to healthcare providers outside the Ministry of Interior's medical services system.
This achievement enhances integration and increases the efficiency of healthcare spending. It also underscores the continued efforts of the Ministry of Interior's medical services to develop specialized healthcare services and elevate the standard of care, in line with health transformation goals and efforts to improve service quality.
