Doha: August 14 - The second edition of Qatar Toy Festival 2024 was wrapped up, today, following 32 days of recreational activities and live shows that were purposefully tailored for all families' tastes. This year's editions broke the record, in terms of the sheer number of attendees which surpassed 100,000 visitors, an increase with 33.3 percent compared to the opening edition in 2023. The festival drew a host of prominent Arab singers and artists, such as the famous Kuwaiti singer Humood Alkhudher, the Syrian artist Tarek Arab Torkan, the Syrian artist Rasha Rizk, the Qatari artist Dana Al Meeri, and the artist Asim Sukar. This brought a festive and vibrant atmosphere to the festival's activities. The closing ceremony of the festival featured a superior performance by the choir 'Ruh Al-Sharq,' followed by a speech delivered by acting head of events and festivals technical support at Qatar Tourism, Hamad Al Khaja. The second edition achieved remarkable success, drawing100,000 visitors, which is a new at tendance record, Al Khaja said, adding that this year's festival was superb as the largest and best in many aspects, featuring a diverse range of the most famous brands in the world of games, shows, and competitions.
