SEC Joins as Strategic Partner in Energy Localization Forum

The Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) is participating as a strategic partner in the Energy Localization Forum, organized by the Ministry of Energy in Riyadh on October 23-24 under the theme "Empowering Localization for Energy Supply." The forum aligns with the support and empowerment provided to the energy sector by Saudi leaders to enhance the Kingdom's leadership in the energy sector and bolster its contribution to global energy security and sustainability. The event aims to advance the localization of the energy sector in Saudi Arabia in line with Vision 2030. It brings together government entities, private-sector players, industry leaders, investors, and experts, fostering collaboration to enhance energy sector localization within the Kingdom. The forum seeks to develop local capabilities and innovation in energy production while raising awareness about the importance of localization in this sector. The forum will also explore initiatives and plans for localization, emphasizing public-private sector coll aboration to support the Kingdom's transition to renewable energy and sustainable solutions. SEC's involvement includes participating in panel discussions and workshops and signing agreements and memorandums of understanding to support its localization strategy, which is aligned with the Kingdom's strategic goal of enhancing energy sustainability and reliability.
