Socotra: The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) significantly enhanced educational stability in Socotra Governorate, ensuring the continuation of training at the local technical institute and the reopening of Socotra University.
According to Saudi Press Agency, by securing all operational costs and providing comprehensive facilities, the initiative addressed the challenges that previously threatened the educational process. These projects, which include establishing a college of education and several model schools, aim to equip Yemeni youth with specialized skills for the labor market and foster a stimulating learning environment.
To date, SDRPY has implemented some 60 sustainable development projects across 11 Yemeni governorates, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive, high-quality education and long-term socio-economic growth in the region.
