Riyadh: The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) concluded its participation Thursday in the fifth edition of LEAP 2026, held over four days at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham under the theme "Into New Worlds," as a strategic sponsor of the conference and a key partner of the accompanying DeepFest platform.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during its participation, SDAIA signed nine memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with several government entities and leading private-sector companies. The MoUs are focused on capacity building, exchange of expertise, innovation and modern technologies, and the development of digital solutions and services. These agreements aim to strengthen partnerships and expand the impact of data and AI across multiple sectors.
Through its pavilion, SDAIA showcased 12 national products and projects in data and data governance, digital infrastructure and applications, and capacity and knowledge building. These initiatives attracted interest from officials, experts, investors, and others from within and outside Saudi Arabia.
The SDAIA pavilion also hosted six associations and nonprofit organizations to present their data- and AI-based initiatives and solutions. LEAP 2026 also honored 62 government entities for completing the integration of their services into the comprehensive national application Tawakkalna, highlighting the level of integration among government entities in providing beneficiaries with a unified digital experience.
