Riyadh: The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) presented two scientific papers in the 29th Conference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing (EMNLP), which concluded its activities on November 15. As many as 3,500 AI researchers and scientists from different countries participated in this global conference, where more than 2,300 scientific papers were presented. According to Saudi Press Agency, SDAIA's National Center for Artificial Intelligence (NCAI) CEO Dr. Yaser Al-Onaizan, who co-chaired the scientific committee at the conference, stated that one paper presented by SDAIA was titled 'A systematic survey and critical review of the evaluation of large language models: challenges, limitations, and recommendations', while the other was 'Exploring compatibility in multilingual shared spaces'. Al-Onaizan highlighted that SDAIA is committed to supporting researchers and enhancing the value of scientific research in data and AI. The initiative also aims to open broad horizons for research, development, and innovation, positioning the Kingdom as a participant in economies based on data and AI.
