Beijing, March 12, 2023, SPA — The Director of the National Information Center at the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), Dr. Essam bin Abdullah Al-Wagait, visited Huawei’s headquarters in China to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between SDAIA and Huawei in the fields of data, artificial intelligence, advanced technologies, knowledge localization, and exchanging experiences in these domains.
During his visit, Dr. Al-Wagait held meetings with the Company’s CEO and several company officials to discuss digital transformation and its impact on achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and its goals, in which the digital infrastructure plays a vital role. He noted that data and artificial intelligence are the two engines supporting the exploration of visions and achieving the goals of the vision and SDAIA’s strategy towards building advanced data centers.
Dr. Al-Wagait also visited the Huawei exhibition, which highlights the company’s most important advanced technologies, the cloud computing exhibition for infrastructure, communications, and cloud computing technologies, and the Ping Cheng Research Laboratory.
