Minister of higher education asserts depth of Egyptian-Belarus ties

Minister of Higher Education Khaled Abdel Ghaffar asserted on Thursday the depth of Egyptian-Belarus ties.

This came during Abdel Ghaffar’s meeting with Belarus Education Minister Igor Karpenko and his accompanying delegation.

Abdel Ghaffar said that there are new horizons of fruitful cooperation between Egypt and Belarus since the extended meeting that took place between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko where the attended the inking of a number of cooperation agreements in the different domains including the fields of education and higher education.

Egypt is looking forward to more cooperation with Belarus in the field of higher education and increasing the scholarships presented from both countries especially in the fields of engineering, technology, basic sciences ad the Russian language, he said.

Abdel Ghaffar asserted the importance of dispatching Egyptian students to Belarus.

Meanwhile, Karpenko asserted that the Egyptian-Belarus ties witness historic progress during the current stage.

Karpenko invited Abdel Ghaffar to pay a visit to Belarus to visit the education institutions, universities and scientific center.
