Minister of Education Tareq Shawqi discussed on Tuesday with German Ambassador to Egypt Cyrill Nunn means of fostering bilateral cooperation on education, in addition to several topics of common interest.
During the meeting, Shawqi reviewed his ministry’s efforts in several files, most notably cooperation with the German side with a view to making a breakthrough in the fields of general and technical education.
The ministry also attaches importance to training on modern technologies in order to deliver a strong added value to the Egyptian education, Shawqy added.
Meanwhile, the German ambassador commended the Egyptian minister’s efforts in the education field, pointing out to the decades-long close partnership ties between Cairo and Berlin.
