The first route runs from Jeddah to AlUla along the Red Sea coast, following the shoreline before heading east toward the historic oasis and passing several coastal locations. The second route connects Madinah with AlUla via Khaybar, bringing together geological landscapes, historical heritage, and oasis culture. The approximately 383-kilometer route takes between four and five hours.
The third route offers a different experience, taking travelers from Tabuk to AlUla through the vast desert landscapes that characterize northern Saudi Arabia. Stretching for 295 kilometers, the route takes around four hours, with open roads and expansive natural vistas along the way. Together, the overland routes to AlUla showcase the Kingdom's diverse landscapes, from the Red Sea coastline north of Jeddah, through Khaybar's volcanic scenery, to the desert horizons south of Tabuk. They also allow visitors to explore a variety of destinations and landmarks before reaching the oasis.
