SCA Expands International Partnerships, Explores Advanced Construction Technologies in France

A delegation from the saudi contractors authority (sca):jlan, concluded its visit to the French Republic, which included a series of meetings and visits aimed at strengthening international cooperation, learning about advanced practices in the construction sector, and exchanging knowledge and expertise to enhance the competitiveness of Saudi Arabia's contracting sector.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, the delegation met with representatives of the French Building Federation to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between the contracting sectors in Saudi Arabia and France, exchange expertise and knowledge, and expand communication between contractors and companies in both countries, helping explore new opportunities for partnerships and joint ventures.

The delegation also visited Scale One, a center operated by Bouygues Construction, where it learned about its approach to developing and testing construction technologies, materials, and solutions in an environment that simulates real-world construction conditions.

The visit also included an exchange of expertise on innovation in the construction sector and discussions of modern solutions and technologies that improve construction efficiency, advance practices, and enhance the sector's competitiveness.

Al-Ajlan said that the Kingdom's contracting sector is witnessing rapid growth and promising opportunities driven by the scale of projects and development underway across the Kingdom. He noted that strengthening the sector's international relations contributes to knowledge transfer and enables it to benefit from modern technologies, business models, and advanced practices.

He added that SCA is working to build effective links between contractors in the Kingdom and their counterparts in international markets, facilitating the exchange of expertise and exploration of opportunities while supporting the development of national companies' capabilities and enhancing their competitiveness.

The visit comes as part of SCA's efforts to develop the contracting sector, enhance its competitiveness, and expand its international partnerships and relations, supporting the growth of national companies and strengthening the sector's readiness to capitalize on future opportunities and projects.
