Riyadh: The Saudi Water Authority has renewed its call for the public to benefit from the incentive initiative aimed at regularizing violations related to water and sewage networks. The initiative, launched last May, will continue until August 18, 2025, offering an opportunity for violators to avoid financial penalties by correcting their status within the specified timeframe.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority emphasized the importance of addressing any irregular connections before the deadline, noting that the National Water Company has established official channels to facilitate the process, including a mobile application and an electronic branch.
It explained that unauthorized encroachments on water and sewage infrastructure negatively impact the fair distribution of water and reliable access to services. Such violations can lead to reduced water pressure, sewage overflows, public health risks, and environmental damage.
The authority also stressed that, after the deadline, legal action will be taken against any irregular connections discovered.
