Saudi Vision 2030 Spurs Economic Transformation, Says Saudi-Canadian Business Council Chairman

Jeddah: Chairman of the Saudi-Canadian Business Council Mohammed bin Nasser affirmed that Saudi Vision 2030 has driven a qualitative economic transformation and opened promising opportunities in the mining, industry, energy, infrastructure, artificial intelligence (AI), and financial services sectors.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement on the sidelines of the Saudi-Canadian Investment Forum held yesterday in Jeddah, Mohammed bin Nasser said the forum serves as an important platform for translating government directions into tangible investment partnerships and projects. He stressed that the Saudi-Canadian Business Council is working to strengthen communication between the public and private sectors. It also seeks to transform investment opportunities into joint projects that contribute to knowledge and technology transfer and create employment opportunities.

He added that Saudi-Canadian relations are entering a new phase of economic cooperation, supported by the significant capabilities of both countries. He expressed optimism that the forum's outcomes would enhance trade and investment, expand the presence of Saudi companies in the Canadian market, and encourage Canadian companies to establish the Kingdom as a regional hub for their business and investments.

He noted that the next phase aims to advance economic relations between the two countries beyond traditional trade toward a sustainable economic and strategic partnership that serves their mutual interests.
