Saudi Teams Win 65 Medals at World Masters Games 2025

Taipei: Saudi teams won 65 medals at the conclusion of their participation in the World Masters Games 2025 (WMG2025), held in the Taiwanese capital, Taipei, with over 25,000 athletes representing 107 countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi team competed in six different sports, securing 31 gold, 21 silver, and 13 bronze medals-an unprecedented achievement that reflects the significant progress in Saudi sports overall, particularly in masters sports.

Head of the Saudi delegation Mohammed Bouali expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom's leadership for its strong support of sports and athletes. He praised the results achieved, which elevated Saudi Arabia's standing at the global event, and commended the team's organization and collective spirit.

He also emphasized that the presence of Saudi athletes in such international competitions is a source of pride and a clear indicator of the progress of sports in the Kingdom and the emergence of national talent and champions.
