Riyadh: The Saudi national teams continue their participation today in the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games (Riyadh 2025), competing across several sports.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the table tennis doubles and mixed doubles events begin today. In the mixed doubles, Ali Al-Khadrawi and Nihal Alqahtani will face their Lebanese counterparts, while Amira Al-Dhafeeri and Shaha Al-Dhafeeri will meet the team from Kyrgyzstan in the women's doubles. Ali Al-Khadrawi and Abdulaziz Bushlaibi will also take on Kyrgyzstan in the men's doubles.
In volleyball, the Saudi team fell to Turkiye on Tuesday, losing 3-0. In weightlifting, Ali Al-Othman secured sixth place in the 94 kg category after lifting 157 kg in the snatch and 190 kg in the clean and jerk, for a combined total of 347 kg.
The Saudi delegation's participation in the games concludes tomorrow with Ali Al-Khazal competing in the 110 kg weight category.
