Saudi Team Wins Four Awards at International Biology Olympiad 2025 in the Philippines

Manila: The results of the 36th International Biology Olympiad (IBO 2025) were announced in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. The competition, held from July 20 to 27, saw the participation of 308 male and female students representing 80 countries worldwide, marking one of the most prestigious international science contests for high school students.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the announcement of the results revealed that the Saudi Biology Team achieved a new scientific milestone after winning a silver medal, two bronze medals, and a certificate of merit. This achievement came as a culmination of months of intensive preparation, as each student underwent over 2,800 hours of a specialized training program.

The program was organized by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity 'Mawhiba,' in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Education.
