Saudi Stock Exchange Ends Trading Lower

Alula: The Saudi Stock Exchange main index ended trading lower today, losing 6.64 points to close at 10,886.63 points. The total value of trading reached SAR2-9 billion. The Saudi Parallel Market Index (NOMU) ended higher, gaining 68.42 points to close at 22,438.82 points. Trading value on NOMU reached SAR28 million, with more than 1.8 million shares traded.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the main index's slight decline reflects a day of mixed trading activity on the Saudi Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, the positive performance of the Saudi Parallel Market Index indicates a continued interest and investment in smaller and medium-sized enterprises listed on the NOMU. This dynamic between the two indices highlights the varied performance across different sectors and market segments within the Saudi economy.
