Makkah: Members of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association are actively participating in public service camps throughout Ramadan 1447 AH, providing essential volunteer services at both the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. Their efforts underscore the Kingdom's commitment to fostering a culture of peace and volunteerism.

According to Saudi Press Agency, over 750 scouts and scout leaders are involved in the volunteer program, which spans the entire holy month. These volunteers are dedicated to serving Umrah performers and worshippers, as well as collaborating with authorities to assist visitors at the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah.

The initiative is part of the 'Messengers of Peace' global effort, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals. This program emphasizes the development of innovative youth leadership, peace education, sustainability, and active citizenship, showcasing Saudi youth's role in humanitarian work.

Participants in the program support the Special Forces for Hajj and Umrah Security, aid security patrols in central Makkah and Madinah, manage visitor movement, and offer guidance in partnership with the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. Their contributions ensure smoother operations and enhanced services for all visitors.

In Makkah, more than 400 scouts are deployed, while over 350 are stationed in Madinah. Together, they demonstrate the values of volunteerism and community service, working as a unified team to support worshippers and visitors during this significant time.
