Makkah: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association has initiated support for Ministry of Health staff at hospitals and health centers in Makkah and the holy sites. Through their public service camps, trained youth and scout leaders are deployed to assist in organizing pilgrims' entry, directing them to clinics, labs, and pharmacies, and guiding them upon departure. They provide services throughout the day in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.
According to Saudi Press Agency, scouts' duties also include organizing outpatients in clinics, offering emergency first aid when requested, guiding recovering patients to their residences, assisting patients in navigating hospital facilities, directing non-emergency cases appropriately, and maintaining order and calm within the facilities.
